    NOTE:  This is a blog I started a couple of months ago and for some reason or another never  published it.  Reading it over now shows that some the issues of last February did come to pass.  Krispy Kreme is gone and is Loehmann's and so on.  The housing news seems cheerier but there does not seem to be much real growth in sales.
